This last Christmas, 3 years to the day since my now husband proposed to me, my sister-in-laws fiance asked her to be his wife. She of course said yes. A few months ago I said "Hey, let's go try on wedding dresses, I know you aren't getting married until next year but we should probably get this show on the road." At the time it had been decided that due to Charles' work schedule that they would get married in the summer of 2013 since he would be out on an Alaskan crabbing boat all through the Summer of 2012. Well as luck would have it things didn't work out and it turned out he was going to be home this summer after all. So in May it was decided that they would get married this year. Thankfully it didn't take them long to decide on a photographer and a wedding planner (didn't know I could do both?) and we began tackling the short timeline. We got the dress, booked the location, but now invitations had to be done, and of course engagement photos had to be included!! The first day we tried to do the photo shoot it did nothing but pour all morning and early afternoon. By the time it quit raining I had a dance recital to attend and the lovebirds had things of their own to take care of. Thankfully they came down the next day and it was beautiful! We headed down to Burfoot Park and enjoyed some of the beauty it had to offer.
I love the sunray shooting across this photo
The picture they chose to go in their wedding announcements
I absolutely love this! He is there to protect his girls.
A very happy family!
